March is one of my favorite months. It kicks off with the Bike League’s National Bike Summit, which always charges me up for the bike season ahead. Right on its heels is International Women’s Day, which fills my feeds with uplifting stories about women doing inspiring things. Then daylight savings kicks in, giving us longer days to enjoy, and the weather warms up as the month progresses, making it easier to take lengthier and more leisurely rides. What’s not to like?
This March has all that, plus something extra special
If I learned anything from the Bike Summit, it’s that this year is going to see a radical shift in how we get around, as bicycle infrastructure expansion and e-bikes take the nation by storm. And as we move around our cities we are going to need products that help us live that mobile lifestyle.
Now is your chance to be part of this change and become an investor in Po Campo for as little as $150. Your investment will be put to work immediately, enabling us to build on the momentum from last year (256% increase in sales!) and take full advantage of the growth opportunities that 2021 presents. See our campaign on Republic for all the details.
Invest in the brands you ❤️
Wondering why you should invest? Well, as Warren Buffet always says: Invest in the brands you love. If you’re like our other investors and support our mission of making biking a better and more seamless part of people's lives so they can enjoy its freedom and joy every day, don’t miss this chance to get in on the ground floor.
This is also your chance to back a women-founded brand – during Women’s History Month no less! – committed to supporting and celebrating the mobile lifestyle, and directly participating in our work to make Po Campo bags better for everyone. Read more about what makes us tick in this interview with me on Republic.
Speaking of Women’s History Month, you may have seen a recent article about how, in 2020, VC funding in women-owned business fell by 27% to a paltry 2.3%. Ironically enough, this is despite the fact that women-led teams generate a 35% higher return on investment than all-men teams. (source)
Tell me, can you think of any major bike or outdoor brand founded by women to hit $100M in sales? I can’t either, but that’s what we’re building, Now’s our chance to make history together and grow Po Campo to be the category defining brand for the micromobility movement.
