Each month we will be choosing our favorite Po Campo fan photo to display on the blog. We see all of your beautiful pictures on Instagram/Twitter/Facebook, but if there are photos you’ve taken with your Po Campo bag that you haven’t posted online, feel free to send them our way! You can email your fan photos to photos@pocampo.com or tag your photos with #pocampo for a chance to win a FREE PO CAMPO BAG.

1. Tell us a bit about your hometown. Where do you insist on taking out of town guests?

I live in Brevard, North Carolina, a smaller mountain town in the southern Appalachians about 40 minutes southwest of Asheville. There are so many wonderful things to do in Brevard. I was first drawn to the area by the cornucopia of outdoor adventure activities that the area offers. I always insist guests check out the local waterfalls, take in a nice hike or bike ride, or enjoy the rivers during the warmer months. Our area is also well-known for its craft beer, and guests usually insist I take them to the local breweries.

2. Where is your favorite place to take your Po Campo?

Well, I own four PoCampo bags (!) - one bike share bag, two Logan trunk bags, and one Maxwell hip pouch - and they all help me with every day life. My most-used, well-loved bag is the Logan trunk bag. I use it as my daily purse, and carry it with my wherever I go. My most well-traveled bag, however, is my Maxwell hip pouch. This bag goes on all my international trips, because it's the perfect size for all my essentials during a day of sightseeing and exploring. Most recently I ran/walked 25k in one day around Lisbon, Portugal with everything I needed (including a small jacket!) in my hip pouch.

3.  Secrets for managing helmet hair?

Braids and dry shampoo! I keep my hair long so that I can pull it out of my face while riding. I often braid my hair to keep it less tangly, and use dry shampoo to breathe new life into flat, dirty hair. When I worked in a traditional office, I kept a fan at my desk that I'd turn on immediately to help dry my hair when it got sweaty.

4. If you could be amazing at playing any one instrument, which would you pick?

I'd settle for being able to play any instrument, but I'd really enjoy being able to sing.

5.  If you could wake up fluent in any language, which would it be?

I think I'd really enjoy being able to speak Spanish fluently. I took 6 years of Spanish in school, but it's been over a decade since my last Spanish class. My current level of Spanish allows me to get what I need and struggle through a conversation, but I'd really enjoy being able to hold an intelligent conversation with folks that I work with or with folks in countries that I travel to.

6. What song do you always sing when you sing karaoke?

I've never sung karaoke in public!
