Will You #OptOutside With Us?

REI recently announced that it is closing all of its stores on Black Friday and sending its employees outside instead. We like that idea, so we're doing it too, and hope you'll join us. Tag your photos and/or posts with #OptOutside and #PoCampo so we can share our experiences.

Then, on Green Monday, which is supposed to be about the green color of money, but we'd rather have it be about the green color of leaves, we'll share our fave photos and select a winner at random to win a $150 Po Campo Gift Card to get some more gear for more outdoor adventures. Doesn't this sound like more fun that a Black Friday shopping stampede?

The next thing you may be wondering is what you should do outside on Black Friday. That's a no brainer if you live in a place like Colorado, but not all of us have an obvious answer to that query. Fortunately, REI's #OptOutside website makes it easy to search for locations near you.
