This weekend, Chicago was the blessed host of New Belgium brewery’s Tour de Fat, a “Pedal Powered FUNdraiser of Sustainable Folly” and a “Ballyhoo of Bikes and Beer”. Pretty intriguing, no?
When Maria suggested I take a mid-day break yesterday and check out the Chicago Sidewalk Sale in Daley Plaza, I jumped at the chance. I love wandering around booths and window shopping! The Sidewalk Sale promotes local fashion designers and independent boutiques, so it’s a great place to meet the owners behind your favorite brands.
Martha Van Inwegen is the creator and owner of Action Wipes, a game changer for premoistened body wipes because they’re made with natural, plant-derived ingredients and smell quite pleasant.
