Yes I love biking in Chicago, but the rainy and cold weather we’re having this April has put me in a serious funk mood-wise. And to think I once thought I wanted to live in Seattle!

I continued my 30 Days of Biking by slogging through some seriously crappy weather in Chicago.
My participation in the 30 Days of Biking continues with a lot of trips to downtown Chicago. I guess I don’t go downtown that often because I hadn’t realized how much construction there was. What, you can’t cross the river at Washington? What, you can’t go south on State? Who knew?
Dealt with some crazy weather the last five days as I took part in the 30 Days of Biking challenge. Alas, that is what spring in Chicago is like.
When I heard about the 30 Days of Biking Challenge, I thought it sounded like a great way to ring in the spring season in Chicago in 2011. I bike most days, mostly just riding to work and back, but liked the idea of committing to riding 30 days in a row no matter what.
