Tour de Fat

Posted by /

This Saturday I attended Tour de Fat in Palmer Square Park.  It is a festival put on by New Belgium Brewery- the twist is that it’s not only fantastical (reminded me of the amazing Redmoon theater’s style)  but also all about bikes.  There was a bike parade in the morning and then the rest of the day you can spend watching some great bands (the mid west has The Yard Dogs and Mucca Pazza), testing out some crazy home engineered bikes (see my test drive on a sofa lounge bike) & games, and drink wonderful New Belgium beers.  What a great combination! See if the tour is hitting your town at http://www.newbelgium.com/tour-de-fat, and bike slowly ;)
